Springdale Farms parking at 752 Mansell Ave.
We set out to dinner one night at Eden East. That was typical – eating. But the undercurrent of the night was researching a non-well-known to us wedding venue, Springdale Farms. We were charmed by the food, by the people and the wide open green spaces. They were set up for wedding that was happening the following night, so we could see the view of grounds and picture how we could set up our own event.
Combine that with a fun evening with the “research team” and the next week, we signed the contract to have the event on November 8, 2014.
Some notes on the venue:
1. It’s a working urban farm. There are chickens. We aren’t eating those.
2. The venue is entirely outdoors. Cross your fingers for good weather.
3. The venue is entirely outdoors. Check the weather!
4. Ladies…those stilettos are going to sink into the earth. Might I suggest a wide heel or a wedge?
